Designer's Garden
This was our labor of love for 27 years. Mark and I created together a central Pergola with Wisteria, Arbors, stone walls, paths, formal garden areas and Koi Pond with stream.
We planted everything here ourselves. The cedar shingle house you see at the back of the property was once the barn. The original owner had it made into a house in 1927. We renovated it and added the screen porch.
The gardens were all designed and planted by my husband and I. These gardens enriched our lives for so many years, and I learned so much from them. We have moved on to a 25 acre mountain property in South-west Virginia.
